Drupal Meetup Today (4/7/16)

Join us today at 6pm for our monthly meetup to discuss all things Drupal! This month's topic includes an interactive talk discussing client relations and contracts. We'll also have time for an open forum discussion to talk about anything Drupal related (Drupal 8, modules, site building, development, theming, workflow, etc).

Drupal As A Service -- By Sarah Poger Gladstone

This Month, Sara Poger Gladstone will be presenting Drupal As A Service.

In my opinion. this is a highly valueable topic in the Enterprise arena, and will be a leading factor in getting Drupal more accepted in that sector.

Drupal's modular design and rapid deployment is VERY well suited to standing up back-ends quickly for other applications' use. (Assuming the data model isn't wildly changing as part of the application.)

Sara is not only explaining the background and use-cases.. She is demonstrating examples as well!

If there's ever a meeting for programmers of other languages, frameworks, or applications to attend... This is the one! Because they can learn where Drupal could make their life easier.

I look forward to seeing you all tonight, and learning a bunch! See you there!

February Topic: GIT

Mike Wright is back this month with his presentation of Git.

He'll walk through a pragmatic approach, beginning with a recap of basic Git operations, then move to a focus on branching.

Mike is a great teacher, knowledgeable, entertaining, and straight-shooting about what matters most.

Make sure to bring your real-world situational questions. Mike is great with them!

See you there.
